According to ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong, the organization plans to host over 60 events worldwide in 2024, including shows in the United States, Qatar, Japan, and the Philippines, signaling a “full return of MMA.”
Sityodtong also expressed confidence in the “solid foundation” of ONE Friday Fights and the Muay Thai product, allowing the organization to shift its focus back to mixed martial arts and scale up its operations.

The upcoming event calendar, set to be announced early next week, is expected to include a record number of events globally, with a focus on different martial arts and various locations.
Commenting on the decision, Sityodtong emphasized the importance of considering the regional situation and expressed certainty that the event will take place in Doha as planned, thanking all involved in Qatar for their support.
Furthermore, plans for “two very big events” in Japan have been confirmed for 2024, with a press conference scheduled for Tokyo later this month, as well as the potential debut of former Japanese K-1 kickboxing champion Ken Segawa in January.
