The Fight Pass Invitational 5 turned out to be an exciting night of matches, deviating from the initially planned lineup due to last-minute injuries.

The event, which was supposed to feature Georges St-Pierre and Nick Diaz, was later changed to Gordon Ryan vs. Mason Fowler. However, both replacements also withdrew due to injuries. Nevertheless, St-Pierre and Ryan provided commentary throughout the evening.

In the main event, Nicolas Meregalli secured a victory over Felipe Pena with a rear-naked choke in overtime. Pena’s exhaustion was evident as Meregalli quickly tapped him out.

In the co-main event, Nikki Rodriguez, also known as Nikki Rod, defeated Yuri Simoes on points. However, the focus shifted to the unconventional scoring system of the Fight Pass Invitational, which imposed significant point deductions for inactivity. Despite early point losses, Rodriguez managed to mount Simoes multiple times and ultimately won with a score of 3-2.

Rodriguez then challenged Gordon Ryan to a money match, proposing a $50,000 stake from each participant, with the winner taking home $100,000. Check out the callouts and match highlights below.
