Kamaru Usman is of the opinion that Logan and Jake Paul would hold the upper hand in a potential mixed martial arts matchup against Tristan and Andrew Tate.
The Paul brothers are primarily known for their involvement in boxing, but their wrestling background could potentially give them an edge if they were to confront the Tate brothers, who have predominantly participated in kickboxing.
“If it’s an MMA match, I think Jake and Logan have the advantage.” [Paul] Sure…I mean, they actually wrestled…that [kickboxing] It’s actually a disadvantage when it comes to wrestlers,” Usman said during a TV appearance. PBD Podcast. “If I get kicked and you go down, that’s different, the balance is different…Civilians don’t realize that getting off your back is an actual skill.”
Current Situations of the Paul and Tate Brothers
While pondering such a matchup may be intriguing, the possibility of the Paul and Tate brothers facing off seems highly improbable. Notably, Tristan and Andrew Tate are presently awaiting trial in Romania on charges related to rape, human trafficking, and the formation of an organized crime group for the sexual exploitation of women. They vehemently deny all allegations.
The Tate brothers were apprehended in December 2022 and detained until March 2023, after which they were placed under house arrest. Subsequently, in June, Andrew Tate and his brother were formally charged.
According to a BBC report, an indictment filed in a Bucharest court alleges that the Tate brothers, along with two other defendants, established an organized criminal group in 2021 to engage in human trafficking not only in Romania but also in other nations, including the United States and the United Kingdom.
