Conor McGregor’s name and history still carry a lot of importance.

On New Year’s Day, McGregor declared that he will battle Michael Chandler at a UFC event set for June 29th during International Fight Week. The fight has not been officially confirmed by the UFC, but oddsmakers have already set lines for the anticipated matchup.

According to draft kings, McGregor is the slight favorite at -120. Placing a $100 bet on McGregor would yield a return of $183.33, while a bet on the underdog Chandler at +100 would give a $200 return.

Based on the odds, McGregor has a 54.55% chance of winning.

The former two-division champion will be making a comeback after his last fight at UFC 264 in July 2021, where he sustained a broken foot in the opening round against Dustin Poirier. McGregor’s success in MMA has been somewhat limited over the past seven years, with his sole win during that time being a 40-second KO of Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January 2020.

Chandler has had varied results since transitioning from Bellator to the UFC. He achieved a 2-3 record inside the Octagon, securing wins over Tony Ferguson and Dan Hooker, and earning four post-fight bonuses in just five fights with the promotion.
