Keith Thurman, the former WBA welterweight champion, is set to face WBO junior middleweight champion Tim Tzu in Las Vegas on March 30th, despite having only fought three times in the last five years. The fight, scheduled for 12 rounds, will be headlined by a pay-per-view event with WBA junior welterweight titlist Laurie Romero taking on Isaac Cruz. Thurman’s only loss was to Manny Pacquiao, and he hopes to put on an impressive showing against the undefeated Tszyu.
Both fighters appeared confident at the press conference, with Thurman jokingly taunting Tszyu and Tszyu responding with a fearless attitude. The exchange between the two fighters showcased their competitive spirits and set the stage for an intense battle in the ring.
