LAS VEGAS, Nev. — UFC’s top figure — and self-proclaimed avid gambler — Dana White was heard giving his thoughts on Super Bowl 58.
Super Bowl 58 will take place later today (Sunday, February 11, 2024) inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers to conclude the 2023 NFL season.
During the post-match press conference for Power Slap 6, MMAMAnia.com asked the UFC CEO for his predictions for the upcoming game.Tonight on CBS at 6:30pm ET.
White expressed, “I don’t give [New England] The Patriots are not in it. But I think it’s difficult to bet on that. [Patrick] Mahomes [Travis] With Kelce [Andy] Despite the lead, I think the 49ers are the better team. I think Kansas City knows how to win. At the end of the day, whoever wins wins, so I don’t really care.”
White is a fervent New England Patriots fan, so it’s no surprise that he doesn’t have strong feelings about the outcome of Super Bowl 58.boys and bassinHe recently advocated for “Sin City” to host the Super Bowl every year during a visit to a local casino, also reaching out to Roger Goodellthis week.
“I was with Roger Goodell this afternoon and I said to him, ‘You know this is where the Super Bowl should be held every year.’ Should we move this somewhere else? No,” White said. “The World Series, the NBA Finals, the Super Bowl should be held here every year.
“No other city can compete with this city,” White continued. “It’s the greatest city on earth. All the big sports leagues are here now. They’re going to have an af-king ping pong league here soon. Baseball, basketball, soccer, everybody. Come here.
“And they can’t get here fast enough,” White concluded. “Why? Because this is the greatest city in the world. We have the best hotels, the best restaurants, the best entertainment, and the best shopping in the world.”
The UFC CEO was then asked what Goodell had to say about his outlandish idea.
“I don’t know how he took it, but he definitely didn’t agree with it,” White said.
