Exciting lightweights Elf Brenner and Miktibek Olorubayi are preparing for an epic showdown in Rio de Janeiro.
This matchup has been confirmed for UFC 301, scheduled for May 4th at Junes Arena.
Sources familiar with the fight informed MMA Junkie about the bout, though they chose to remain anonymous as the promotion has not officially announced it yet. Ag.Fight was the first to report on this matchup.
Brenner (16-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has been making waves in 2023 with impressive victories over Zubaira Tukhugov, Gulam Kutateladze, and Keiynan Kruszewski. Known for his comeback ability and resilience in the face of adversity, Brenner looks to extend his winning streak to six fights.
Olorbayi from Kyrgyzstan (12-1-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) caught the attention by submitting Uros Medic in his UFC debut in November on short notice, extending his winning streak to seven matches.
