With the collaboration between TNA and “WWE NXT” flourishing, talents from both organizations are gaining increased exposure. As a producer at TNA, Ace Steel finds fulfillment in nurturing the future superstars. Two wrestlers have particularly captured his attention, one of whom he views as undergoing a “full circle” experience post his WWE departure.

Steel expressed, “I’m honing my skills as a producer, building on experience gained from working with other companies starting with WWE. That served as my training ground, and I have put in relentless effort to excel in this craft. TNA has provided me with opportunities to collaborate with diverse talents. One such talent is Mustafa Ali, who was honing his craft on the Chicago independent scene when I was stepping away from wrestling. It’s a bit of a full-circle moment.” He continued, “Similarly, my partnership with Joe Hendry has been incredibly enriching. We have blended well and his recent surge in popularity is remarkable. He is currently one of the most beloved figures in the industry.”

After requesting his release from WWE in 2022, Mustafa Ali’s career soared to new heights. He enjoyed a 148-day reign as the X-Division Champion in TNA, added a second title with the DREAMWAVE Alternative Championship, and competed in several matches in NJPW. Despite a setback in his quest for the TNA World Championship, where he narrowly missed victory against Josh Alexander at Slammiversary recently, Joe Hendry is now eyeing the NXT Championship. He emerged victorious in a Number One Contenders Match against Pete Dunne and Wes Lee and will challenge Ethan Page at No Mercy on September 1.
