Review of AEW Dynamite: Highlights and Lowlights from the Show on 9/4/2024

While there are a couple of matches that have caught my attention for All Out, the most recent episode of “Dynamite” didn’t quite spark the excitement for the upcoming event. The show unveiled only a few new matches, resulting in a smaller card of just eight matches, which is atypical for AEW President Tony Khan who usually presents 12-match cards. Furthermore, the absence of newly crowned AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May from the lineup is a letdown, especially following her recent triumph at All In.

A standout moment from the show was the intense promo featuring MJF and Daniel Garcia, showcasing promising potential for their feud, though it could benefit from more development before reaching its climax. The lukewarm reception to the matchup between Jack Perry and Bryan Danielson is worrisome, lacking believability in Perry retiring Danielson.

Despite these drawbacks, I remain optimistic about All Out and have faith that AEW will deliver an enthralling PPV experience, as they have consistently done in the past.
