On December 18, AEW taped matches for the December 20 episode of AEW Rampage at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.

The Don Callis Family comes to the ring for a promo. Kyle Fletcher declares his intent to win the Continental Classic and hypes up his match with Daniel Garcia.
Konosuke Takeshita and Brian Cage defeated Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs in a tag team bout.
Lio Rush and Action Andretti secured a victory over Goldy and Myles Hawkins.
Private Party’s Zay and Quen, along with Top Flight, both make their presence known as Rush and Andretti launch a surprise attack on Private Party.
Willow Nightingale triumphed over Harley Cameron. In the aftermath, Penelope Ford attacked Nightingale, but Kris Statlander came to her rescue before departing on her own.
In the AEW Continental Classic Gold League, Brody King claimed a win against Komander.
