Volkanovski conveyed his perspective on the matter during an interview, clarifying that Max was not under any pressure to compete. While Topuria’s next opponent has yet to be officially named, Volkanovski, following his defeat to Topuria, opined that Topuria’s conduct in interviews and on social media could be detrimental to his reputation. Despite eagerly awaiting an opportunity to recapture his title, Volkanovski expressed a wish for the Topuria vs. Holloway bout to take place promptly so that he could resume fighting.
