Alexis Rocha Wins Boxing Match Against Santiago Dominguez

Former WBO NABO Welterweight champion Alexis ‘Lex‘ Rocha emerged victorious in a match held at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. Rocha defeated former WBC Latino champion Santiago ‘Somer’ Dominguez in a 10-round unanimous decision. The judges’ scores were 99-91, 99-91, and 98-92 in favor of Rocha.

Rocha, with a record of 25-2 and 16 knockouts, displayed his skills against the former WBC Latino champ Dominguez, who boasts a record of 27-1 with 20 knockouts. Rocha focused on a strong body attack in the early rounds and landed a significant body shot in the fourth round that visibly affected Dominguez.

Despite Dominguez’s efforts in the later rounds, Rocha maintained control with his body shots and secured the victory by decision. In the co-feature, welterweight Gregory ‘Goyo’ Morales (17-1, 9 KOs) also emerged victorious against IBO American champion Jayvon ‘Jigsaw’ Garnett (10-2, 5 KOs) in a ten-round decision.

In other matches, lightweight Bryan Luca (10-0, 5 KOs) achieved a fifth-round stoppage win against Diuhl ‘Elegante’ Olguin (16-38-7, 10 KOs), super bantamweight Jorge Chavez (12-0, 8 KOs) defeated Riku Kitani (8-3, 3 KOs) in a solid six-round bout, and super welterweight Grant Flores (6-0, 5 KOs) secured a second-round stoppage victory against Juan ‘Fuego’ Meza (4-6, 3 KOs).

The event at the Fantasy Springs Casino showcased thrilling fights with remarkable performances from all the fighters.
