Following his historic win at ONE 166: Qatar earlier this month, Anatoly Malihin now focuses on the next challenge ahead.

His primary objective is to defend his ONE Heavyweight MMA World Title. Malihin is carefully considering potential challengers, with a focus on Amir Aliakbari and “Roig Leug” Umar Kane.

Currently weighing his options, Malihin expressed, “We think there are two options at the moment: ‘Reug Reug’ or Aliakbari. I don’t know which one.”

He acknowledged Aliakbari’s deserving rematch opportunity, remarking, “Aliakbari certainly deserves a rematch more at the moment because he’s won four in a row.”

Despite the looming challenges from Aliakbari and Roig Roig, Malihin radiates confidence. He confidently stated, “I’m ready to get in the ring with both of them on the same night.”

With an impeccable 14-0 record and a remarkable 100 percent completion rate, “Sladky” aims to solidify his status as the division’s undisputed champion by taking on both opponents.

Malihin praised Aliakbari’s current form, stating, “Amir is in very good shape right now. He has good boxing and surprised me that functionally he was able to breathe all three rounds. I can’t wait for this fight. The audience, I think they are also waiting, so let’s go,”

Considering a potential fight with ‘Reug Reug’, Malihin joked, “Get a knockout in one round to get bonuses and have fun with your family after winning.”
