On June 15, boxing fans are in for a treat as Olympic medalists Esquiva Falcão and Hebert Conceição will square off in a 10-round bout weighing 74kg (163 pounds) at Spaten Fight Night in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This event will be headlined by a special five-round exhibition match between former UFC rivals Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen.
Hebert Conceição, the gold medalist from the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, has an impressive record in the pro circuit with five wins, including three knockouts. He hones his skills under the guidance of Luis Dorea, who also coaches Anderson Silva in boxing.
Esquiva Falcão, who clinched silver at the 2012 Olympics in London, boasts an outstanding professional record of 30 wins in 31 matches, with 20 knockouts. His single defeat came against Vincenzo Gualtieri in a bout for the IBF middleweight title in July 2023.
