Former unified heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz Jr. returned to the ring to take on 26-1 contender Jarrell Miller after a two-year hiatus since his last victory against Luis Ortiz. With a record of 35-2 and 22 wins by knockout, Ruiz Jr. sought to prove his continued prowess in the heavyweight division.
