Arn Anderson, a WWE Hall of Famer, made a surprising comeback to WWE television at SummerSlam to lend support to Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Anderson provided Rhodes with words of encouragement backstage before his match, suggesting that more assistance was on the way for the champion. This appearance marked Anderson’s first time back on WWE TV in a number of years.

Arn Anderson’s previous appearance on WWE TV was on “SmackDown Live,” where he took part in the “Fashion Police” segment with Breezango. He was let go from the company in 2019 and then went on to join AEW, where he served as a manager, coach, and mentor for Cody Rhodes.

In 2024, Anderson disclosed that his contract with AEW had come to an end, and he voiced his intention to dedicate more time to traveling and training with his son, wrestler Brock Anderson.
