Kobe Williams had his first boxing match at the Tropicana Resort and Casino in Atlantic City against lightweight opponent Kevin Hicks, who held a 1-2 record, in a four-round bout. Williams demonstrated strong performance in the first round, aggressively pursuing Hicks and effectively landing punches with his southpaw jab. He continued his dominance in the second round, finishing the fight with a powerful left body shot that led to the match being stopped.

Following that, Dwyke Flemmings, with an undefeated record of 6-0, faced Jonathan Hampton, who held a 3-4 record in a super welterweight six-round fight. Flemmings initiated a strong offense right from the start and continued his dominance into the second round. By the third round, Hampton was overwhelmed, prompting the referee to stop the fight.

Later in the event, Pryce Taylor, an unbeaten heavyweight with a record of 6-0, went up against Lawrence King, who had a record of 2-1 in a four-round bout. Taylor started by pressuring King in the first round, but no significant blows were landed. The pace remained slow in the second round as Taylor strategized to wear down King. This approach continued into the third and fourth rounds. Although Taylor didn’t secure an early knockout, he claimed victory based on the decision of the judges at ringside.
