## Update on Why Kiana James & Dijak Didn’t Appear on WWE Raw After the Draft
The recent WWE draft for 2024 just concluded after the Backlash PLE event in Lyon, France. It’s expected that there won’t be many changes between WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown until the next draft. Some notable stars from WWE NXT have been called up to the main roster, such as Carmelo Hayes, Baron Corbin, and Blair Davenport to WWE SmackDown, and Ilja Dragunov and Lyra Valkyria to WWE Raw.
Among those drafted to WWE Raw from NXT were Kiana James and Dijak. However, unlike Dragunov and Valkyria, they were missing from the May 6 episode of WWE Raw. Reports from Fightful Select suggest that the creative team for the main roster is currently brainstorming ideas and plans for both James and Dijak.
James entered NXT in early 2022 after competing in All Elite Wrestling. She had a notable run in NXT, securing the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship with Fallon Henley in February 2023 and making appearances on WWE Main Event.
Dijak had a short stint on the main roster as a part of the Retribution group during the COVID-19 outbreak, where he wrestled under the name T-Bar. He made a return to NXT in 2022 and has been achieving success in the main event scene.
