Despite currently being the Women’s World Champion, Becky Lynch has not yet signed a new contract with WWE.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Lynch’s contract is coming to an end next month. Despite her recent title win, Lynch has not finalized a new deal.
Sapp reports that talks are ongoing for a new contract for Lynch, and it seems likely that a resolution will be reached by June, especially since she is set to defend her title against Liv Morgan at WWE’s King and Queen of the Ring event later this month.
Additionally, Fightful confirmed that Lynch’s husband, Seth Rollins, has recently inked a “new, lucrative, multi-year contract” with WWE.
In an interview with Adam Silverstein on Getting Over earlier this year, Becky Lynch mentioned that there have been no formal talks about her re-signing with the company.
