Throughout his time in WWE since 2016, Montez Ford has been part of the Street Profits tag team with Angelo Dawkins. After success in developmental and a move to the main roster in 2019, Ford and Dawkins have had title reigns but are yet to reach higher levels of success within WWE. Bianca Belair, Ford’s wife, believes he’s ready for a solo career, as she shared on “The Masked Man Show”.

Belair stated, “He’s ready. He loves being in a tag team. Dawks is like his brother, and sometimes he goes back and forth. He’s ready and then he feels guilty because he’s like, ‘That’s my brother. I should want to do as much as I can in a tag team.’
Ford and Dawkins had a quiet 2024 but recently made a comeback with appearances on “WWE SmackDown” and a brief return to “WWE NXT.” Belair feels the duo is underestimated in WWE’s tag team division but believes Ford will have his moment to shine.
“All that man needs is an opportunity, and he will skyrocket,” Belair added. “I can’t wait to support him like he’s supported me. He underplays himself sometimes. I have to remind him, ‘You are a Triple Crown Champion.’

Belair expressed her confidence in Ford’s abilities to excel at a high level in the industry, noting that he hasn’t yet shown fans the full extent of his talents. The anticipation for Ford’s breakout moment continues to build, and Belair eagerly awaits that moment.
