Renowned in jiu-jitsu, Gabi Garcia is preparing for her return to MMA as she gears up for a rematch against Barbara Nepomuceno on April 25 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This news has been officially confirmed by Centurion FC officials to MMA Fighting.

Fans can catch all the action live for free on Caze TV on YouTube.

Garcia, with a professional record of 6 wins, 1 no contest, last appeared in an MMA bout back in December 2018 at RIZIN 14, where she secured a victory over Nepomuceno in under three minutes. The heavyweight competitor has built her MMA career predominantly in Asia, boasting a flawless record of six victories by stoppage.

CEO Roberto Gallo of Centurion FC expressed his enthusiasm for Garcia’s inclusion in the upcoming fight, stating: “Centurion FC is steadily growing in strength. We are honored to have Gabi Garcia onboard, a privilege that aligns perfectly with Centurion FC’s vision.”

In 2019, Garcia re-entered the grappling scene and achieved a historic milestone at ADCC by clinching her fourth gold medal. The 38-year-old jiu-jitsu expert also showcased her prowess by claiming double gold at the IBJJF Pans that year, triumphing in both her weight category and the open weight division.

Nepomuceno, a former WGP kickboxing champion hailing from Brazil, reemerged in 2022 and secured a victory against Gabriela Mingorance in a kickboxing battle. She followed up with another impressive win by defeating Bianca Carvalho via decision in April 2023.
