‘Platinum’ Mike Perry made a name for himself in the bare-knuckle martial arts world and now wants to put his skills to the test in boxing. Following his latest victory over former Bellator MMA and UFC lightweight world champion Eddie Alvarez at BKFC 56, Perry expressed interest in facing Nate Diaz, even if it involves using 8-ounce gloves.

However, he acknowledges that it can be challenging to find opponents willing to sign up for bare-knuckle matches. Perry believes that some fighters are hesitant due to the lack of gloves, but he is willing to adapt if it means securing high-profile fights.

“They’re afraid of not wearing gloves,” Perry said. “They’re really scared. They want to come and test themselves. It’s good to be afraid. I’m not saying it’s bad. In his professional boxing debut, Nate Diaz faced Jake Paul, and after 10 rounds, Paul was declared the winner by unanimous decision. Paul has been eager to secure a rematch with Diaz, offering significant sums of money, but Diaz has reportedly turned down these offers.
