In the bustling city of Las Vegas, Bobby Green is gearing up for his fight at UFC 300, acknowledging the significance of being part of this milestone event.

Green (31-15-1 MMA, 12-10-1 UFC) is set to square off against Jim Miller at the T-Mobile Arena, a matchup that has been postponed three times before.

Is fighting at UFC 300 a special moment for Green, irrespective of his opponent?

“Yes and no,” Green shared with MMA Junkie and other media outlets during Wednesday’s media day. “To me, this is just another fight. Even though it’s labeled as 300, it doesn’t feel any different to me.”

“However, I am truly honored to be a part of this event. I realize there could have been so many other fighters chosen, but they picked me. While I may feel sorry for myself, I am grateful for this opportunity.”

Miller (37-17 MMA, 26-16 UFC) has been a recurring opponent for Green due to various circumstances. Green’s initial bout with Miller was called off in 2014 due to a knee injury. Fast forward to today, Green’s fight against Miller in July 2022 was scrapped after Green failed a drug test.

“We’re going to put an end to this chapter,” Green stated. “The fourth time’s the charm. Perhaps it’s fate. It might not have seemed worth it then or even later, but now we’re minutes away.”
