WWE Hall of Famer Booker T isn’t holding back his thoughts on AEW star Ricky Starks potentially making the leap to WWE’s NXT brand. Speaking on his podcast, Booker gave high praise to the charismatic wrestler and compared his potential impact to that of current NXT standout Ethan Page.

“Do I think he would fit in NXT? Of course,” Booker said, adding that Starks could “make a huge difference as far as that roster goes” thanks to his charisma and untapped potential.

Booker also acknowledged that while he hasn’t seen Starks showcase a lot in the ring, his presence alone speaks volumes. “He’s a guy that has an upside,” Booker noted. “I haven’t really gotten a chance to see Ricky Starks go out there and do a whole lot in the ring. But, like Ethan Page, when he came to NXT, I hadn’t seen a whole lot of him either.”

Drawing from Ethan Page’s success, Booker praised how quickly Page adapted to NXT and rose to the occasion, especially with top stars like Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes preparing for their main roster debuts. “I said, ‘This guy is coming in at the right time when guys like Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes are leaving for the main roster.’ I say this is a guy who can fill that hole. He’s done it very, very well. So, a guy like [Ricky Starks], if he came over, I think could do the same thing.”

Booker’s comments have fans speculating whether Starks, who hasn’t been seen in AEW recently, could make the jump to NXT and shake up the roster. With NXT consistently proving to be a launching pad for future WWE stars, Starks might just find himself in the spotlight in a whole new way.
