At WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes claimed the Undisputed WWE Championship by defeating Roman Reigns, concluding his narrative arc. Since then, Rhodes has been embroiled in various rivalries. However, the question remains, has Rhodes’s reign been as impactful as Reigns’s, the “Original Tribal Chief”? Recently, Rhodes defended his title against Solo Sikoa on “WWE SmackDown,” and Booker T, initially uncertain, observed the outcome with interest.

Booker T shared his views on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, stating, “Cody’s current run is impressive, and it will eventually reach its conclusion at the right time. I’m not certain if that time is now, considering the narrative at play.” The veteran acknowledged the buzz around Sikoa potentially being WWE’s next breakout star and pondered whether this rising talent with The Bloodline’s support could snatch the championship from Rhodes.

However, not everyone agrees with Booker’s positive assessment of Rhodes’s championship reign. Bully Ray, on “Busted Open Radio,” criticized Rhodes for lacking a formidable rival. He cited The Rock as a prime example of a major adversary for Rhodes, even though the ultimate showdown was against Reigns. Bully advocates for Rhodes to face a villain on par with The Rock to elevate his title run and prevent it from being lackluster.
