An intriguing new prospect has arrived in BKFC’s super-sized heavyweight division.

Behold Braxton “The Beautiful Monster” Smith.

On Friday, the UFC vet introduced himself in style to BKFC fans with a third-round stoppage victory over Alex Davis at the sold-out Gas South Arena in Atlanta, LIVE globally on The BKFC App.

All of Smith’s wins in the cage have come by first-round KO, with his longest victory lasting just 123 seconds. Experts and fans speculate that bare-knuckle fighting is a better fit for Smith’s skill set than MMA, but the heavy-handed Austin, TX product doesn’t necessarily agree with that assessment.

“Everybody says that, but I believe I can be the best in the world at any combat sport when I’m coached up and in fight shape,” Smith says.

“BKFC does fit me really nicely though.”

Smith isn’t just a fighter at BKFC — he’s also a big fan of the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion. Smith sees himself with the BKFC World Heavyweight Championship belt around his waist in the next 12 months, but for the time being, he calls the current Champion Mick Terrill his favorite fighter.

On Friday’s BKFC 69 broadcast on The BKFC App, it was announced that Terrill will defend his crown for the second time against Ben Rothwell at KnuckleMania V on Jan. 25 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, LIVE worldwide on DAZN.

“I don’t have any issues with Ben — I think he’s a good fighter — but I hope Mick silences everybody and puts him to sleep,” Smith says.

“I hope I can get on that Philly card too,” he adds with a smile. “That’s a huge event. It’s going to be legendary for the promotion and legendary for combat sports, so I want to be a part of it.”
