Recently, Chael Sonnen generated controversy on Twitter when he made critical comments about UFC CEO Dana White and Conor McGregor in tweets that he later deleted. Although the original tweets are no longer visible, screenshots of them have been widely shared on social media platforms.

Sonnen took to his official YouTube channel to address the incident, claiming that his account was compromised by a hacker. He made light of a previous hacking incident in which he jokingly sold PlayStation 5 gaming consoles. The former 47-year-old fighter, who recently experienced a defeat in a boxing match against Anderson Silva, mentioned that the hacker had reached out to him and offered to return access to his accounts upon request.

Sonnen expressed interest in understanding the hacker’s motivations and technical abilities, indicating that he would rather learn about the hacking process than dwell on the inconvenience caused. He also alluded to his involvement in developing QR codes for the anticipated release of the PlayStation 6.
