Bryan Danielson, the new AEW World Champion, is set to make a significant announcement on AEW Dynamite about his future with the promotion. Following his recent victory at All In, where he hinted at retirement, Danielson expressed uncertainty about what lies ahead in his career with AEW.
During a post All In press conference, Danielson admitted that he had not given much consideration to his future in pro wrestling, despite teasing retirement leading up to his match with Swerve Strickland at the pay-per-view. However, he confirmed that he will be appearing on this Wednesday’s episode of “AEW Dynamite” in Champaign, Illinois to make a special announcement.
Speaking about his future plans, Danielson mentioned that he had not thought beyond the current moment and jokingly stated that he will have to figure things out before the upcoming show. When asked about a potential retirement at the WrestleDream pay-per-view in October, set to take place at the Tacoma Dome in Washington, his home state, Danielson reiterated his focus on the present and mentioned that he was pleased with the outcome of All In.
At the press conference, Danielson shared a personal moment with his daughter sitting on his lap, revealing that she wanted him to come home. This heartfelt exchange prompted Danielson to contemplate his future decisions, considering his desire to spend more time with his family and his physical health challenges, including the need for neck surgery.
