UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell is recognized as one of the more colorful fighters on the promotion’s roster. His outspoken nature often leads him to weigh in on controversial topics, and he is known for going on the occasional rants.
During a recent appearance on the "Believe You Me" podcast, Mitchell directed his criticisms toward the richest man in the world, South African entrepreneur Elon Musk. He voiced his disdain for Tesla vehicles and Musk’s Neuralink company.
"Elon Musk is a liar. He’s trying to destroy humanity. Anybody that’s ever trusted him has been deceived," Mitchell stated when asked about Musk’s ambitions to colonize Mars. "He’s actually selling microchips that go into people’s heads, acting like he’s some damn doctor. Brother, that’s the mark of the beast."
“I’m telling you, that is the type of technology that the anti-Christ is going to put in people. When you start getting these chips in the head, they’re going to monitor everything you buy, everything you sell… Basically, it’s going to be communism like the world has never seen. This technology is going to be so evil that it’s going to put all of the control of the world into the hands of one man," he continued.
“When you see a guy like Elon Musk putting chips in people’s brains and acting like he’s a doctor – his cars suck, he’s never been to space. He can’t go to space… He knows the Earth is flat. He’s a lying rat b*stard.”
Mitchell has voiced skepticism about technology being used to control the masses and the consolidation of too much power in the hands of one individual.
“You know why he wants electric cars? Because these electric cars suck, and they’re gay. The reason he’s making electric cars is that he can shut your damn car off whenever you make a mean tweet. Now he owns Twitter. They’re going to get to the point where everything is so controlled that Elon Musk presses a button and your car flies off a bridge at 200 mph, or you’re locked in it, or you just can’t start your car," he warned.
“You can’t do that with a 1997 Ford pickup truck, buddy. My ‘73 will run one of those pieces of s** Teslas off the road and crush it like a can of Coke – I’m just telling you those Teslas are pieces of sht just like he is."
Mitchell is set to return to the octagon this Saturday on the UFC 310 main card, where he will face off against Kron Gracie.
