WWE Hall of Famer, Bully Ray, shares his thoughts on the potential shift of “WWE SmackDown” to another night as it moves to the USA Network in the near future.

With the transition to the USA Network set for September following the conclusion of its contract with Fox, Bully Ray, during an appearance on the “Busted Open” show, explains why he advocates for “SmackDown” to stay put on Friday nights, underlining the importance of spacing between “Raw” and “SmackDown.” He argues that the current schedule effectively differentiates the two programs.

Bully Ray favors Friday nights for “SmackDown” and mentions his own enjoyment of watching the show live on numerous occasions. Even though show host Dave LaGreca suggests a potential move to Thursdays for the blue brand, Bully Ray points out that “SmackDown” originally aired on Thursdays. Given the current landscape with “Raw” on Mondays, “WWE NXT” on Tuesdays, and AEW Dynamite on Wednesdays, Bully Ray values the existing schedule and arrangement.

While “SmackDown” is heading to the USA Network, “Raw” is slated to shift to Netflix by 2025, and “NXT” will find a new home on The CW.
