A 10-round bout has been scheduled between Cain Sandoval and Javier Molina on February 23rd at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California. This event will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
Sandoval, who hails from Sacramento, California, has an undefeated record of 11-0 with 11 knockouts. The 21-year-old fighter has been gaining attention, especially after his impressive fifth-round knockout victory over Wesley Ferrer. Promoter Tom Loeffler praised Sandoval’s performance and development, expressing confidence in his ability to face the more experienced Molina.
In his last fight, Sandoval showcased his talent by securing a knockout victory over Ferrer. Managed by Oscar A. Sanchez, Sandoval has fought four times in 2023, three of which were under the 360 Boxing Promotions banner.
Molina, with a record of 22-5 and 9 knockouts, brings experience to the ring. His last fight was a split decision loss to Robbie Davis Jr. in 2022. The 33-year-old has notable wins over former world title challenger Amir Imam and others. He also represented the United States in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.
Molina’s twin brother, Oscar Molina, is an amateur celebrity and former prospect.
