Jared Cannonier and Caio Borralho Set to Fight in Las Vegas

Former contender for the middleweight title, Jared Cannonier, currently ranked 5th in the 185-pound division, is scheduled to battle it out against the 12th-ranked contender, Caio Borralho, at the upcoming UFC Vegas 96 event on Saturday night (August 24, 2024) at APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, airing on ESPN and ESPN+.

At 40 years old, Cannonier holds a record of 17 wins and 7 losses. He aims to recover from a recent technical knockout defeat to middleweight contender, Nassourdine Imavov, at UFC Louisville in June.

On the other hand, 31-year-old Borralho’s record stands at 16 wins, 1 loss, and 1 no contest. He secured a second-round knockout win over Paul Craig at UFC 301 earlier this year in Brazil, maintaining an undefeated UFC record of 6-0.
