Conor McGregor is feeling justified following a series of dreadful terror incidents in Dagestan, the birthplace of his long-standing foe Khabib Nurmagomedov. These incidents on Sunday, June 23, led to the tragic loss of at least 21 lives, with 16 of them being police officers, and left about 25 others wounded. Reports indicate that armed individuals targeted a synagogue, churches, and a police station in Derbent and Makhachkala, setting ablaze various structures and creating disorder.

Sergey Melikov, the leader of Dagestan Republic, revealed that six attackers, including Gadzhimurad Kagirov, a former MMA fighter previously linked to Khabib Nurmagomedov and his deceased father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, lost their lives.

In light of the heartbreaking incidents, Conor McGregor, famously known as Nurmagomedov’s top rival in the Octagon, has been actively expressing himself on social media. Recently, he used the hashtag #ConorWasRight in a post regarding a video depicting Russian security forces raiding Nurmagomedov’s Eagle MMA gym in Makhachkala.

In 2018, McGregor initially accused Nurmagomedov of having connections to terrorism, with a focus on Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, whom McGregor referred to as a “lying terrorist snitch” before their showdown at UFC 229. These accusations were thought to originate from a book from 2013 that raised suspicions about Abdelaziz’s involvement with law enforcement agencies and potential double dealings.

Abdelaziz holds a prominent position in MMA management, managing several acclaimed fighters such as Nurmagomedov, Kamaru Usman, Justin Gaethje, Henry Cejudo, and Kayla Harrison.
