Crystal Van Wyk is getting ready for her return to the BKFC ring.
At BKFC 69 on Friday, she will be up against Emma Murray in a women’s strawweight match at the Gas South Arena in Atlanta. This event will mark BKFC’s highly-anticipated premiere in Georgia.
Van Wyk, hailing from South Africa, expressed her confidence ahead of Friday’s fight, which will be broadcasted globally on The BKFC App.
She said, “I have a strong belief that I will win this fight. I will be looking for a knockout from the get-go, but I am also prepared for a challenging five-round bout. I feel ready thanks to my intensive training.”
After her first BKFC loss to Sarah Shell, Van Wyk has worked diligently to make a comeback.
She explained, “I have gone back to the fundamentals, concentrating on my footwork and head movements. Competing in BKFC is akin to any other sport – it requires time to excel. Yet, I am becoming more comfortable with each fight and am truly enjoying this sport.”
“This is the most enjoyable experience I’ve had in any combat sport,” she added.
However, Van Wyk’s participation goes beyond enjoyment.
“My main objective is to secure a title shot. So, my strategy is to steadily climb the ranks and showcase my skills in every match,” she affirmed.
