During the latest episode of WWE RAW, Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, and Sonya Deville secured a victory against Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter in a fierce matchup. Post the showdown, they found themselves on the receiving end of an attack from the rival team, reminiscent of a previous encounter where Baszler and her crew had targeted Damage CTRL.
In a candid backstage interview, Dakota Kai threw down the gauntlet by challenging Deville to a showdown for the upcoming week. Following their last appearance on the July 8 episode of WWE RAW, where they were caught off guard by Baszler, Stark, and Deville, Damage CTRL had been mostly off the radar.
