CEO of UFC, Dana White, expressed his frustration with the media’s coverage of Jon Jones’ issues with Drug Free Sports International, which allegedly resulted in the heavyweight champion’s recent arrest. White questioned Jones’s recurring problems and his perception of himself.

Jon Jones, a two-time former light heavyweight champion turned heavyweight champion, made a successful comeback last year after a three-year break, winning a title fight against Cyril Gane via guillotine choke in the first round.

Before his injury in November, Jones was gearing up for a highly anticipated fight defending his title against former two-time champ Stipe Miocic.

“He (Jon Jones) is constantly getting into trouble,” stated Dana White in an interview with Bill Maher on the Club Random Podcast. “There’s always some incident, and they end up in trouble. NBC News even falsely reported his arrest. It seems like accurate reporting is lacking.”

White further emphasized, “All our fighters undergo drug testing. When an inspector arrives for a surprise test, they need to know your location. In this case, Jones allegedly threatened the inspector. Despite reports, he was never actually arrested.”
