Following UFC on ESPN 56, Dana White, the CEO of UFC, spoke to journalists about potential collaborations between UFC and WWE. White revealed plans for holding events in the same city over a weekend, involving not just UFC but also WWE under his promotion, Power Slap.

White mentioned setting up dates where Power Slap events take place on Fridays, UFC on Saturdays, and WWE on Sundays. He hinted at a future lineup of Friday Power Slap, Saturday UFC, and Sunday WWE events.

Traditionally, WWE reserved Sundays for its major live shows, but WWE President Nick Khan recently moved the main roster premium live events to Saturdays in 2022. Looking ahead to 2024, all remaining WWE premium live events (excluding NXT) are planned for Saturdays until the Bash in Berlin event in August. There is a possibility of shifting these events to Sundays starting as early as this fall since no other WWE premium live events are scheduled post-August.

When asked about the potential crossover of UFC fighters into WWE, White expressed openness to the idea, especially with the absence of Vince McMahon, the former WWE head.

White stated, “I don’t have an issue with that. I was fine with it even when Vince was causing me trouble without reason. Now that’s not the case anymore, I would definitely consider it.”

However, White dismissed the possibility of making special appearances in WWE, like being a guest referee, firmly stating, “I can guarantee you that will not happen. Never.”
