Daniel Garcia, who currently competes in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), recently opened up about his near involvement with the Jericho Appreciation Society in a recent interview. He disclosed that his original plan was to be a member of the Blackpool Combat Club alongside Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley.

During the interview, Garcia shared, “I was supposed to be in with Bryan [Danielson] and Mox. That was supposed to be me. It was supposed to be me, Bryan, and Mox as a group. And Jericho took me for the JAS instead.”

Garcia mentioned that there was somewhat of a competition or “bidding war” between the Jericho Appreciation Society and Blackpool Combat Club for his inclusion. In the end, Jericho successfully recruited him to join the JAS over the BCC.

What do you think about Garcia’s account of events? Do you believe he would have been a better fit within the Blackpool Combat Club as opposed to the Jericho Appreciation Society? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.
