DDP and Josh Nair are supporting Butterbean, a former Superheavyweight boxer and “Brawl For All” champion, in reestablishing his fighting capabilities after facing physical challenges for years. Butterbean, who had been wheelchair-bound and unable to undergo a hip replacement due to his weight, received assistance from former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page and Josh Nair. Together, they utilized DDPY (formerly DDP Yoga) to help Butterbean lose more than 100 pounds, enabling him to have the much-needed hip replacement surgery.
Nair, who was introduced to DDP through his ex-wife Brenda, started working with Butterbean in 2022, describing him as “overweight and broken.” Despite the difficulties, Butterbean has managed to reach 285 pounds, the lightest he has ever been for a fight, and is currently in the best physical shape of his life at 58 years old.
Previously weighing over 500 pounds before enlisting Nair’s help, Butterbean now expresses his ambition to return to fighting, particularly mentioning his interest in facing Brock Lesnar. He attributes his significant weight loss and improved physical health to the personalized DDPY sessions with Nair. Butterbean is resolute in his commitment to continue pushing himself and make a comeback to the ring at the earliest opportunity.
