Even if you aren’t a fan of competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, you shouldn’t miss the intense grappling showdown between the 2022 ADCC champion Kade Ruotolo and Andrew Tackett that happened on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024.
This match between Ruotolo and Tackett had everything: suspense, action, submission attempts, close calls, escapes, scrambles, and high stakes.
Ruotolo, the top seed in the Craig Jones Invitational (CJI), needed to defeat Tackett to reach the finals and claim the $1 million prize. Both fighters, aged 21, displayed their top-level skills.
