Errol Spence has been taken off the pound-for-pound rankings because he hasn’t fought in a year, which many fans are happy about. The decision came after Spence lost to Terence Crawford in July 2023 and didn’t have any wins since then. Devin Haney has now replaced Spence at No. 10 in the pound-for-pound rankings. Haney, a former undisputed lightweight champion, got back in after Ryan Garcia’s win was nullified because of a failed drug test. The Ring Ratings Panel chose Haney as the right choice. In the welterweight rankings, Spence was also removed, and Raul Curiel is now at No. 10. Curiel was picked for his good performances and victories in the division. The Ring Ratings Update shows these changes, as well as other adjustments in different weight classes.
