Former GLORY Kickboxing champion Simon Marcus starts new journey towards UFC

Simon Marcus, also known as “The One” in the kickboxing world, is now stepping into the realm of MMA. After a break of two-and-a-half years following his MMA debut, Marcus (1-0) is set to compete at Unified MMA 57 in Toronto. He feels completely recovered and prepared to leave his mark in the cage.

At 37 years old, Marcus, a former two-time Glory Kickboxing middleweight champion, is confident that his experience and expertise will catch the eye of the UFC. Despite his age, he maintains faith in his capabilities and is dedicated to enhancing his wrestling and jiu-jitsu skills.

In his most recent MMA bout, Marcus demonstrated a commanding performance, highlighting his grappling abilities. Planning to gradually move down to welterweight, Marcus intends to keep refining his skills in 2024 and hopes to make a global impact in 2025.
