Francis Ngannou is expanding his acting career in Hollywood. Recently, Netflix unveiled the director’s cut of the 2023 sci-fi movie “Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire,” directed by Zach Snyder. Ngannou had a speaking role that was initially removed from the original version but has now been added in this new edition.
In the film, Ngannou portrays a space gladiator who assists the main characters in finding a character named Titus, played by Djimon Hounsou. This is not Ngannou’s first significant movie role, as he also featured in “F9” in 2021 and “Jackass Forever” in 2022.
Ngannou’s most recent bout was a boxing match against Anthony Joshua, which he lost in the second round by knockout. Despite taking time off following the heartbreaking loss of his son Kobe, Ngannou is gearing up to face Renan Ferreira on Oct. 19 in the PFL heavyweight tournament.
