Tonight, Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia will face off in a 12-round match broadcast live on DAZN PPV. The main card will kick off at 8pm ET at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The undercard action starts at 4:30pm on DAZN.
Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) won’t be able to contend for Haney’s WBC light welterweight title tonight as he exceeded the weight limit at the Friday weigh-in. Consequently, Haney’s WBC title is now vacant.
Below are the live updates for tonight’s fight at Barclays Center, as reported by Boxing News 24.
Arnold Barboza Jr. (29-0, 11 KOs), an undefeated light welterweight contender, is set to square off against Sean McComb (18-1, 5 KOs) in a 10-round bout as the co-main event. Barboza, 32, is on standby in case Ryan Garcia is unable to fight.
If anything goes awry with Ryan Garcia, Barboza Jr. will step in as a replacement at the last minute.
