Magomed Magomedkerimov, a Russian welterweight fighter, asserted his dominance at PFL 10: Championship 2023 on Friday, November 24, 2023. He solidified his status as one of the best in the world by defeating Sadibu Sy with a guillotine choke in the third round, live on ESPN+ PPV from inside the Anthem in Washington, DC.

The 33-year-old Magomedkerimov had an impressive record, winning 17 of his past 18 professional fights and was the favorite heading into this match. Notably, he was the 2018 PFL welterweight tournament champion and had a previous victory over Sea in 2021 by unanimous decision.

The high-stakes rematch was a pivotal moment for both fighters, with a $1 million prize on the line. In the third round, Magomedkerimov capitalized on a clinch, applying a tight guillotine choke.
