Max Holloway has raised doubts about Ilia Topuria’s possession of a questionable Baddest Motherf*cker (BMF) title.

Holloway, the current holder of the BMF title, earned the honor in his recent Lightweight bout against former champion Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 in April 2024. However, uncertainty emerged when Featherweight champion Topuria shared a video on Twitter displaying both titles.

At 32 years old, Holloway suspects Topuria obtained a replica BMF title possibly for social media attention rather than a legitimate claim. He referred to Topuria as an “odd dude” during an interview with The Mac Life and advised him to continue boosting his confidence in his own way.

Topuria is scheduled to defend his title against former champion Holloway in the main event of UFC 308 on October 26, 2024. Topuria secured the title through a knockout victory over Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298 in February 2024.

Holloway, who is currently on a three-fight winning streak with wins over Arnold Allen and Chan Sung Jung in the Featherweight division, is determined to recapture the BMF title from Topuria in their upcoming matchup.
