Jake Paul It looks like he’s getting closer to making his MMA debut, something fight fans want to see.

He quickly took aim at Nate Diaz for turning down a potential $10 million fight.

The former YouTuber, now a fighter, has signed a contract to compete for the Professional Fighters League (PFL) in 2023, UFC.

The 26-year-old has continued his strong run with a 10-round points win over former UFC star Nate Diaz, 38, in August.

Paul and the PFL have proposed a rematch inside the cage, but Diaz has shown no interest as he wants to return to boxing. Paul claims a contract was agreed upon.

He told MMA Junkie: “I don’t know, but I think they’re just begging. I think they’re pretty desperate.

“I want to make money, but I don’t want to actually make anything happen.

“MMA has set aside $10 million (approximately 800 million yen) by the end of 2024, which is more than he has ever earned in an MMA fight.

“He’s sitting there asking for more money and basically getting drunk and tweeting random shit posters and random fight posters and making himself look like an idiot.

“I have no idea what they are trying to do or say, but this is a fighting game.

“Everyone says they want to do something, everyone calls on people, everyone blah, blah, blah, but no one actually makes anything great happen.

“And that’s what I was trying to change in this sport, providing transparency to the viewers of what’s really going on in negotiations and not being afraid to fight anyone, anytime, anywhere.” That’s what I wanted to do.”
