As the UFC 303 event approaches, former champion Jamahal Hill has once again cautioned his rival, Alex Pereira, about the stakes of their upcoming fight. Hill, currently ranked third in the light heavyweight division, had to withdraw from his scheduled bout against Carlos Ulberg at UFC 303 due to an injury setback.
After his defeat to Pereira earlier this year, Hill is eager for a rematch should Pereira lose his title match against Jiri Prochazka. Hill emphasized, “If you lose, I will not hesitate to challenge you next, regardless of any other offers.” He made it clear that if Pereira emerges victorious, he will keep moving up the rankings, but a rematch becomes inevitable if Pereira is defeated.
Hill also took issue with Pereira’s post-fight celebrations and promised to make him face the consequences of a devastating knockout if they cross paths in the Octagon once more. The big question looms over whether Hill can maneuver his way back to a rematch with Pereira down the line.
