Nic Nemeth came out on top in the main event at TNA Victory Road with the support of JBL. He managed to defend his TNA World Championship against Moose in a tough battle. Despite The System trying to assist Moose, Mike Santana and WWE Hall of Famer JBL stepped in, enabling Nemeth to claim the win using the Danger Zone. It was noted that JBL had shared something with Nemeth during TNA Emergence.
