Even though AEW All In recently happened, the promotion is gearing up for another pay-per-view tomorrow. Following his AEW World Championship win at All In, Bryan Danielson is about to defend the title against Jack Perry for the first time. Speaking on “Grilling JR,” AEW commentator Jim Ross built up excitement for the upcoming title match at AEW All Out.

Ross expressed his high expectations for this match, saying, “I expect to witness excellence in this bout. Bryan Danielson is unparalleled, the finest worker globally, an exceptional pro wrestling talent.”

The commentator also believes that Danielson will elevate his younger opponent’s performance to a higher level. Ross has always admired Perry and is thrilled to see him compete against Danielson in a singles match for the first time. Prior to this, the only time the two wrestlers officially shared the ring was during this year’s Anarchy in the Arena at AEW Double or Nothing.

“Facing Bryan in the ring is the best opportunity to showcase your skills,” Ross added.

While Ross acknowledged that most viewers anticipate Danielson to retain the title and continue his wrestling journey, the WWE Hall of Famer also pointed out that predicting Tony Khan’s booking decisions is unpredictable.

Besides discussing the upcoming match, Ross also briefly touched upon Perry’s well-known altercation with CM Punk at AEW All In 2023. This incident led to Perry’s suspension for a period, eventually leading him to a stint in New Japan Pro-Wrestling before his return to AEW earlier this year.

“He got entangled in a lot of difficult situations last year,” Ross remarked. “He managed to overcome them, which I truly admire.”
